Senior Instructional System Designer
Provided development support for a DoD Enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) used to conduct web based training for the Air Force and supporting agencies. Collaborated and contributed to the development of customized online courseware using OutStart Evolution LCMS 2006. Performs QA testing on all software changes, and ensures that courses pass the ADL Test Suite to meet SCORM and Section 508 compliance in accordance with Air Force standards. Conducts meetings and interviews with customers to determine and clarify courseware requirements. Provides advice and assistance to Subject Matter Experts (SME) on instructional objectives and design. Defines, and creates quality assurance procedures and implements QA procedures on current and future LMS courses. Evaluates current LMS user and developer guides and updates accordingly. Provides customer service in all interactions with end users, course developer, and LMS developers. Over seven years experience in designing/developing training solutions in multiple formats (classroom, CBT, WBT, CD-ROM). Experienced in the systematic approach to curriculum development, with intranet, internet, or other web-based training development to include story-boarding. Created all internal Configuration Management policies and flow charted processes. Developed and implemented the configuration control process for the ADLS project. Acting Configuration Control Manager, initiates System Change Requests, tracks, and reports to Configuration Control Board. Responsible for tracking all SCRs through the entire life cycle through completion ensuring the process is accurately documented stored in a data repository that complies with DOD standards. Responsible for initiating and maintaining the ADLS CCB CoP (Community of Practice).
