About C Roger Moss

Throughout his career in public administration, C. Roger Moss has focused on promoting and supporting programs that benefit his community. He entered the field as assistant director of parks and recreation for the Town of Orange, in which role he organized and scheduled programs for the public. Upon completing his Master's Degree in Recreation Administration he was named the director of parks and recreation for the Town of Redding. Later named director of parks, recreation, and senior services for East Hartford, Connecticut, C. Roger Moss accepted the National Recreation and Parks Association's annual citation for 2000 and the Dorothy Mullins Class IV Arts and Humanities Award for 2010.

C. Roger Moss also has received the Connecticut Recreation and Parks Association Distinguished Service Award in 2008. He accepted its Outstanding Professional award for 2000 and its Outstanding Young Professional award for 1994. Mr. Moss has given back to the Association as the first two term president for the association and then a three-year past president. Additionally, he continues to serve his community as volunteer executive director of the Podunk Bluegrass Music Festival.

Also the head coach for the Berlin Minutemen Youth Wrestling Program, C. Roger Moss has coached youth sports for more than 20 years. He stands out as the former head wrestling coach for both Amity Regional High School and Longmeadow (MA) High School, as well as past head coach for the Berlin Youth Soccer program. Mr. Moss balances his volunteer responsibilities with service as part-time lead event specialist with Advantage Sales and Marketing in Manchester, Connecticut.
