Interest

I am interested in and passionate about working with individuals, children, and families. I have experience working with at-risk youth both in clinical and non clinical settings. I am excited about exploring a career in crisis and trauma counseling with a variety of ages. I have been trained as an art leader through A Window Between Worlds to use art workshops with domestic violence victims, and in cognitive behavioral therapy for trauma in schools through Riverside County Mental Health. I received an academic merit award for my studies at California Baptist University as well as the "Magic of Believing: Community Hero" award by FSA and Riverside County Mental Health in 2011.

Along with the volunteer and work experience listed I have taken part in many outreach causes. These include working at orphanages in Honduras and Uganda and co-leading a homeless outreach for the mentally ill in Riverside. Additionally, I have many years of experience in customer service.
