- Conducted Archaeological Assestment at William Jennings Bryan’s historic house “Villa Serena” in Miami, FL. Field activities included monitoring ground disturbing activities and systematic sampling on the intact sea shoreline. The area ended up to be a multi component archaeological site with pre-historic and historic occupations. Prehistoric components consisted on two Native American burial sites, prehistoric ceramics and shell tools. Historic materials consisted of historic ceramic and glassware.
- Assisted on the recovery of all human remains and cultural material from a destroyed African American graveyard on the North Western part of the City of Miami. I was also responsible to monitor construction machinery traffic to prevent further damage of possible existing graves. Conducted 1m by 1m excavation units to ground prove possible undisturbed burial sites.
- AssistedFL State Park’s archaeologist Dr. George Luer on his project of collecting samples for future radiocarbon analysis from a prehistoric mound midden shellwork complex at Big Mound Key, Charlotte Harbor, FL
- Monitoredconstruction sites on adjacent areas of the Miami River to prevent the destruction of possible prehistoric and historic sites.
