Summary

As a Maritime Expert in Maritime Affairs, Safety and Security in the Maritime domain is my greatest achievement in every maritime workplace I find myself.

I am a trained and qualified Maritime Expert, specialised in Maritime Safety and Environmental Administration. As a qualified Civil Engineer, I started my maritime carrier on the 1st of September 2010, as I gained employment at the Sierra Leone Maritime Administration (SLMA) as a Project Engineer for the construction project of ten (10) jetties throughout the Country.

During my tenor with the SLMA, I achieved my MSc degree in Maritime Affairs and gained promotion from Project Engineer to Maritime Safety and Security Coordinator and then Quality Assurance Manger II. I have vast experience in Marine Survey Inspections, such as Port State and Flag State Inspections, Search and Rescue Operations, Marine Causality Investigations, and International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code) Audits as the Designated Authority, in coordination with the US Coast Guard reciprocal program.

During the early years after my Bachelors Degree, I worked as a Civil Engineer for two (2) Engineering Consultancy Firms in Sierra Leone.
