As Chief Executive Officer and President of the Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Group, in Port Richey, Florida, Craig Gallagher works to secure a range of government contracts for the construction firm. At present, Mr. Gallagher's company maintains contracts with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the Government Services Administration. Craig Gallagher's specific responsibilities include pursuing new opportunities, submitting proposals, and overseeing all field operations. Before establishing the SDVOSB Group, Craig Gallagher gained extensive experience in the construction industry. His previous firm garnered distinction as one of Builder Magazine's Top 100 Builders in the country. It also received the Aurora Award from the National Association of Home Builders and was featured in publications such as the St. Pete Times and Tampa Bay Business Journal. Additionally, Mr. Gallagher twice appeared as the Featured Builder on the popular ABC show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Aside from his contributions through Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Mr. Gallagher has generously supported the efforts of Extreme Makeover: Jessica's Playground and Extreme Makeover: Kennel Edition. In recognition of these and other efforts, he received keys to the city for both Clearwater and St. Petersburg, Florida. In addition, Governor Jeb Bush named his firm the Preeminent Builder in West Central Florida, and the City of St. Petersburg honored him by designating May 9th "Craig Gallagher Day."Mr. Gallagher holds a Bachelor of Arts from Strayer University, in Tampa, Florida, where he studied Economics and Business Marketing and gained entrance into several academic honor societies. When not working, he enjoys outdoor recreational activities such as fishing and boating. He also dedicates some of his free time to serving as Athletic Director and Coach for the Hudson Police Athletic League.
