Cover Letter

It is with pleasure that I present this Teaching Portfolio. Having obtained my Bachelor of Education from Nipissing, plus my multiple experiences teaching children and adults, I feel that I would make a valuable member to any teaching staff.     Included in this Portfolio are my many accomplishments, plus a variety of experiences in teaching multiple ages, and subjects. Through these multiple positions, I’ve gained a number of different teaching strategies and methods that promote fun, interesting, and inspiring lessons in various subjects, within a safe learning community.     My greatest strengths as a teacher are my patience, creativity, and ability to plan engaging lessons that fit the needs my students. These lessons get students to think critically, and also accommodate for the multiple intelligences. As a teacher I would be willing to offer after-school support, as well as participate in after-school activities, groups, and meetings in order to further support student success. As a teacher within your school I hope to be able to provide your students with lessons that motivate them to learn, and enhance their overall education.     I look forward to having the opportunity to meet you, and hopefully teach in your school. I am able and very willing to relocate and start immediately. Thank you for your consideration, and taking the time to view this portfolio.

Sincerely yours,Chandra Pherrill, OCT
