I am actively seeking an opportunity to work for your firm. My eleven years of architectural experience and six years of project management experience have equipped me with a multitude of skills and I would like to continue my career growth by obtaining a position with your firm.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated for my employers an exceptional ability to meet dead lines, communicate with consultants and vendors and review and prepare accurate and coordinated drawings.

In 1994, I began pursuing my degree in Architecture at Henry Ford Community College. After four years of studying and working full time, I received my degree in 1998 from Henry Ford. After completing my associate degree at Henry Ford Community College, I transferred to Lawrence Technological University in August 1998 to pursue my Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture. Working in architectural firms full time and going to school in the evening, I was determined to complete my degree, and eight years later in 2006, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University.

Currently, I have completed the Intern Development Program (IDP) and am preparing to take the Architectural Registration Exam. I plan to have all seven parts completed and passed by late 2009.

I also have decided to take the LEED exam because I know that green is the technology of today. The more knowledge I have, will increase my chances to work for your firm.

I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to speak with you personally at your earliest convenience.

Thank you for your time.
