·    Prepare monthly market surveys, weekly and monthly traffic and leasing reports for investors and property owner, while maintaining 88% occupancy

·    Responsible for creating and executing monthly market plan to include advertising, promoting and hosting monthly resident activities, while leasing to 90% occupancy in the first year

·    In addition to leasing, responsibilities include: handling resident complaints, hiring and training leasing staff, and assisting bookkeeper with collection of rent and evictions

·In the first three months – leased more than 390 rooms. Increased occupancy from 86% to 100%. Maintained occupancy at 99% through June 2008

·Leasing property to 100% in 2006 was the first time this had ever been achieved since property was built in 2001

·As a marketing manager, assisted property manager in changing reputation of property by making many improvements to include: creating new advertising, new landscaping, repairing new equipment and new amenities, providing same day maintenance, hosting monthly resident events and other resident activities ·Created open door communications with residents to improve resident relations and resident services, which resulted in more than a 45% renewal in the first year

·Responsible for all areas of leasing and marketing, while maintaining 72% closing percentage

·Promoted to Marketing Manager in less than three months after leasing more than 390 rooms between June and August of 2006

·Assisted Property Accountant with rent collection and evictions, while maintaining less than 1.5% delinquency


        ·    Voted “Favorite Place to Live” in 2006, 2007 and 2008 by USF students

        ·    Voted “Property of the Year” in 2006 and 2007

        ·    Voted “Top Leasing Agent” based on highest amount of renewals and new leases two years in a row



Internal & External Communications
A high degree of experience in creating monthly newsletters, flyers and memos to assist in effective internal and external communications for the company. Skilled in leasing apartments, handling property and resident matters, conducting effective follow up with prospective clients and issuing invoices for property violations.
Event Planning
As the resident activities coordinator, planning, organizing and executing of the activities hosted by the property are to increase client satisfaction and total percent occupied. Activities such as: Superbowl parties, Halloween Costume Parties, Bingo Nights, Game Nights, Summer BBQ's and Wine Tastings are all events that have been coordinated. Activites are planned for the 300+ residents living in the property's 237 apartments.

Being an active member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Florida Public Relations Society (FPRA) and attended the Public Relations Student Society of America's 2009 National Conference, which was held in San Diego, California on November 6th - 10th. I am the current chairperson for the Newtowrking Committee of my chapter of PRSSA. I also enjoy networking, sports, traveling and experiencing different foods from around the world.
