Cort Christie comes from a family of entrepreneurs, and his family’s business, Christie Printing, has operated in Duluth, Minnesota since 1901. At the age of 25, Mr. Christie followed in the family tradition of entrepreneurship, founding Nevada Corporate Headquarters, Inc. (NCH) in Las Vegas. At NCH, Cort Christie provides new business owners the information and support they need to incorporate themselves in the state of Nevada. In 1998, Ernst and Young named him Entrepreneur of the Year. A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance, Mr. Christie obtained his Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University. Cort Christie has authored several texts that share his knowledge of business and the incorporating process, including such guides as Incorporating in Nevada: The Do-It-Yourself Guide, The Nevada Edge, Insider’s Guide to Building Corporate Credit, Fast Money Guide, and 77 Ways of Raising Money for Your Business. Mr. Christie’s business knowledge allowed him to serve on a variety of boards for such organizations as the Nevada Policy Research Institute, the Entrepreneurs Organization of Reno/Tahoe, the Nevada Resident Agent Association, and Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology. Mr. Christie also formed the first Las Vegas chapter of the International Entrepreneur Organization in 1999, and has since seen membership grow to over 50 members. Cort Christie spends his time working in both Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada, where he founded the Corporate Service Center, Inc. He lives in Reno with his family and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including skiing and mountain biking.
