Summary

I have been working with community colleges in Oregon since 2008, and they are really a great fit for me. They're also a fantastic place to start your college career - you get small classes and a high quality education at a fairly low price point.I am open-minded about the direction of my career. I hope to do creative work with technology and education. I would like to work with faculty and support students, but I would also enjoy working with corporate training.I have a deep-seated love for math education and my previous work includes a lot of tutoring of mathematics, and teaching math online for one year. I stopped teaching in order to focus on my education, but I hope to pick up a class or two to teach in the near future. All of my work with Southwestern Oregon Community College was funded through a Title III Grant; each month, I had to write a report on how my work and activities met the requirements of the grant.
