I was originally recruited as Sales Manager by Image Publications for Aer Lingus’ in-flight magazine, Cara. I grew revenues in my first year by 45%. I was then promoted to Relationship Manager. I now manage the partnership accounts within Image Publications, ensuring our partners are happy with their 360 marketing strategies across print, digital and corporate business events. I also act as business PA to the CEO.

I was recruited as a Junior Sales Executive to sell on Aer Lingus Cara Magazine on behalf of Aer Lingus for IMAGE Publications. Within 6 months I was promoted to Senior Advertising Executive due to my dedicated attention to growing the new business sales for Cara. I have since developed into a Relationship Manager role working directly with global brands - Vodafone, KPMG, BOOTS, Samsung. I've contributed to a 20% growth in revenues in the past year for Image Publications.

I also work across the board with the editorial, PR and Events team - ensuring that our partners needs are met to the highest standards. We hold some of the most prestigious events in the country, I'm responsible that expectations and standard of our events are adhered and kept on brand to meet the company standards - while over achieving in meeting  the needs of our partners. I have learnt a lot about working in a cross-collaborative team in the last 3 years and the importance of being dynamic and having the ability to adapt to new challenges when needed.

At the time, Munstergroup were launching their ‘Million Pound Drop’ campaign. This was to build on their brand awareness around Ireland - with an overall objective to generate more sales into the company. Research was one of my main responsibilities for this campaign, and one of my main responsibilities was to gather data on our clients. ‘How did you hear about our company’ was found to be one for the key questions in obtaining valuable information that helped in deciding the most effective communication methods for this campaign. With advertising costly, this was a vital cost saving method that allowed the team to utilize the resources and budget to the fullest. To gain a better understanding of our customers I created a customer survey that was sent out with every insurance proposal form and was returned alongside the signed proposal documents. This idea proved to be a strategic and cost effective method to gather information from our customers.

My time was strategically organised around attracting the attention of key media leads, by pitching ideas and concepts on a given subject or client. I was required to produce, edit and evaluate presentations based on events or launches that we organised. Day-to-day duties required me to formulate press packages, media monitoring and drive sales and media attention. Social media platforms were a key component in engaging with our target audiences. During media launches and events I assisted key media  figures by demonstrating and communication new trends and products that were coming to market.This experience has thought me the importance of precise, innovative and structured planning to achieve maximum results.

Interests

When I get the time I love to travel, it really helps me to appreciate diversity, other cultures and opens up a fresh way of thinking. Cooking is what I like to do to relax. From a recent trip to Vietnam I experienced a new approach to cooking, which has added to my daily cooking routine. In my down time I like to spend quality time with my friends and family.
