Castlewood High School Student Council

I was elected Student Body President in the beginning of my senior year. I was responsible for controlling and running the student council meetings and organized the second annual Halloween Dance. Other responsibilities included speaking at Castlewood's Awards Night and taking student's opinions into consideration and reporting some concerns to the superintendent.

I was elected the president of Castlewood High School's Honor Society. I was in charge of all charity and volunteer events for the society. I also helped the society's adult leader manage and prepare activities of the community and school.

I was nominated to be team captain by my coach along with two other teammates. Our responsibilities were to motivate the team during practice and games, manage team chemistry, and look over and vote on any team decisions.

Kones Korner is mainly a convenience and gas station. My responsibilities include pumping gas for customers, operating the cash register, interact with a variety of customers, and stock shelves. I was also responsible for organizing the plethora of merchandise when it was shipped in twice every week.

I was encouraged by a teacher to enlist myself into Castlewood's Peet Tutor Program. I was assigned two underclassmen. My job was to supervise the students and answer any questions that they had about the subjects in which they needed help in.

I was enrolled in Castlewood High School for all four years of high school. I completed 4 years of math, 4 years of English, 4 years of science, 4 years of social studies, 2 years of Spanish, 1 year of physical education and art, 1 year of computer science, 2 years of health science, 4 years of band, and 1 year of Advanced Psychology. I achieved a 3.98 GPA and an ACT score of 28.

First Aid/CPR/AED Certified

I enrolled in a first aid and CPR course where I learned various life saving skills. These skills include CPR, usage of an AED, and various first aid procedures.

Highly Organized

I have managed multiple extra curricular activities and high school courses which required for me to be organized to handle the stress and work load that came with the activities.

Knowledgeable in Spanish 

While in high school, I was required to be enrolled in two years of foreign language; Spanish.

Computer Skills

While in high school, we were expected to know how to successfully operate a computer. In order to graduate, I had to complete a computer class. In this class, I learned how to use Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel , etc. I also an knowledgeable in navigating Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and researching topics.
