Manage a leading regional store in the craft beer and liquor retail industry, consisting of a team of more than a dozen clerks, as well as a continually evolving inventory of more than 7,000 SKUs.

Responsibilities include:

Hire, train and oversee a staff of clerks and managers

Sample, select and purchase a wide variety of beer, wine and liquor products and accessories

Gauge market interest to accurately purchase and provide inventory to satisfy customer demand

Merchandise, display and sell a wide variety of products while maintaining accurate information and knowledge on said products

Oversee the installation of a point of sale system, and efficiently transition store operations to said system

Maintain relationships with sales representatives from over a dozen distributors and vendors

Pay, sort and file invoices and purchase orders from said vendors, as well as utilities and service providers

Attend trade shows and industry events in order to stay up to date and informed on new products and changes within the market
