Being this rare personality type that comprises only 1-2% of the population is both a blessing and a bane, every day.

We are often described as deep and mysterious, driven by strong values, guided by ideological principles, and independent thinkers who possess strong insight into situations (and people) who strive for harmony among those around us.

INFJs are generally warm-hearted individuals, seekers of knowledge, constantly curious about how things work, and highly creative with an eye for detail but also need structure in order to achieve their goals. 

I write this because a) this Myers-Briggs Type Indicator may be foreign to some who read this, (so now you know), and b) the description is totally spot-on. I have been tested three times, and INFJ has been the result each time.  //dc

Summary

I am a multi-industry experienced creative media professional. With my unique perspective and INFJ approach, my work showcases expertise in creative direction, script writing, lensing, editing, and project management. My successes include both traditional media production and digital content creation for a wide array of global clients. 

Right now, I am looking for chances to utilize my skills to create beautiful (and sometimes gritty) images and tell captivating stories that make a difference.

Thanks to my experience in remote and on-site work, I believe I am the ideal candidate for any work setting, whether virtual, hybrid, or physical.

  • Creative Director, Story Editor, Finishing Editor, and Adobe After Effects artist on multiple Hollywood films (narrative and documentary); EPKs and online promotional vids
  • Have directed, shot, and edited feature-length documentaries; wrote and produced multiple EPKs and promotional videos; directed and edited a feature-length BDR concert released in 7.1 surround
  • Have designed and delivered graphic assets for publications for both a major University and the largest independent record label in the U.S. on an ongoing basis
  • Developed and led a large team of volunteers, contractors, and staffers at The Rock Church San Diego; directed live venue broadcasts and short-form digital interstitials for a weekly live audience of approximately 15,000 (more than 260 events yearly)
  • Expanded this small, nationally recognized university’s Alumni Relations and Development Division's overall social following by more than 60% with a cumulative organic reach of over 2.1M
  • Produced a total of 561 30-minute television episodes on time and free of errors

April 2021 - June 2023:  worked almost exclusively with Texas-based WildLife Ranch Solutions, WildLife Partners, and MicroTracks, bringing the creative vision along with photography and video production skillsets to projects that are all dedicated to helping exotic and domestic ranchers and landowners maximize their ROI. March 2020 - April 2021:  used COVID-19 EIDL funds to buy new Sony Alpha® camera gear and learn how to use it (to prep for the onslaught of work I planned on after the pandemic)

November 2017 - June 2019: Director of digital content and communications for Trinity University's Alumni and Development division;  while there were many successes in social media content creation and distribution, here are a few measurable highlights of my work during these seventeen months:

  • Expanded this small, nationally recognized university’s Alumni Relations and Development Division's overall social following by more than 60% with a cumulative organic reach of over 2.1M
  • Increased Alumni Relations’ social engagement by nearly 12,000% over seventeen months
  • Increased LinkedIn engagement from 0.012% to more than 4% within twelve months; increased LinkedIn reach to more than 1M unique impressions, up from zero impressions by my predecessor in 2016
  • Through my new and original campaign efforts I increased donations by 386% from Facebook fans and 154% from LinkedIn followers, so approximately 4,000 new unique donors to the University; relayed this information to the executive team via Sprout and Evertrue reporting

February 2012 to mid-2017: freelance finisher (and final technical/creative say) on 561 30-minute television episodes all delivered on time and free of errors; created and managed OTA, OTT, and social media content for four reality series across multiple networks (in addition to shooting occasionally)—confirmed and conformed to color grade and locked to time for every episode; ensured proper commercials ran during episodes; maintained, reconciled consistency of graphic branding, and wrote EPG descriptions for each episode; managed and approved music cue sheets for the legal team; directed voiceover sessions, merged video and audio to create final assets:

  • Managed first-run and re-run episodes of four reality series on five networks, two OTTs, and six local OTAs
  • Built and strengthened collaborative teams
  • Solely created all show sizzle reels, intros, outros, and motion graphics packages from scratch in FCP, Adobe After Effects, and Premiere Pro
  • Quality control of content for:
    • Creative vision and brand integrity
    • Correct titling and graphic information according to end-user requirements
    • Correct audio mix
    • Correct slates and file names
