Colin Robertson (Chicago)

As managing director of fixed income for in Chicago, Illinois, Colin Robertson oversees investment activity across the world. He manages 68 professionals in Chicago, London, and Bangalore, while also closely following and analyzing international market trends. Working closely with partners and clients, he strives to make informed decisions on the trade of fixed income portfolios and funds.

Mr. Robertson joined in 1999 as senior vice president, having served within the Chicago financial markets since 1985. He began his career at Continental Bank, following receipt of a bachelor of arts in business analysis from Indiana University. He went on to earn a master of business administration with a dual focus in international management and finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

In his free time, Mr. Robertson reads financial publications, allowing him to remain current in consumer trends and the world economy. He closely follows both the stock market and the bond market, and peruses the Wall Street Journal on a daily basis.
