STRATA

I used STRATA during my summer 2010 internship to input invoices and to read the results that different campaigns provided. I know how to input information into the system and how to create a media plan using the program.

Simmons Choices 3

Choices 3 was taught to me at Penn State during my media buying class. I learned the basics of using the program. How to read the charts, how to choose the data set, and how to narrow down the audience. 

Microsoft PowerPoint

I've created many things in Microsoft PowerPoint. Presentations, pictures, and even a storyboard are just a few of the things I've used PowerPoint to create over the years. I know this application well, because of all of the speeches and presentations I had to give throughout high school and college.

Microsoft Excel

I've used Microsoft Excel for many years. I started out using it in some of my mathematics classes in high school and have since used it for to track different goals that I've set for myself. I know the basics and a little more.

Microsoft Word

I know how to use Microsoft Word to create various documents. I've created resumes, cover letters, biographies, term papers, and creative briefs just to name a few in this application. I've been using Microsoft word since elementary school, so I know my way around the application.

Interest

  • I enjoy playing and watching sports, specifically baseball, basketball, and soccer, but do enjoy watching many others.
  • I love learning about new technology that is coming out and how to use current technology.
  • I'm a self proclaimed Mashable addict.
  • I thoroughly enjoy reading the news and keeping up with current events.

Summary

I am looking to get started in the world of advertising in the media area of the business. Eventually, I would like to become an Account Executive and am willing to put in my time in order to achieve this position. During my summer internship I realized that I truly love all aspects of the business and I love how all parts of an agency work together to create an effective campaign.

I'm constantly reading about new technologies and have tried out every social platform I can find. I even presented on how social media can be used to market to consumers to the entire agency at my summer internship.
