Discovery Education Network

The Discovery Educator Network (DEN) is a global community of educators passionate about teaching with digital media, sharing resources, collaborating, and networking. I have been a STAR Educator since 2006 and I am the  elected Michigan DEN Leadership Council Chair and have served in this position since 2008. I also hold the position of DEN Guru for Collaborative Classrooms and serve on the DENvisory Board.

EdCamp Detroit

The EdCamp Foundation promotes organic, participant-driven professional development for K-12 educators worldwide. I am a co-organizer for EdCamp Detroit since our inaugural unconference in 2011. I assist in securing funding and sponsors for our event, organizing the unconference sessions, and present sessions.
