I hold a Bachelor of Information Technology from the University of Colombo and am at the final stage of a Master's in Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business. While studying, I've gained three years of experience in capability development at HSBC.

I am determined to get into the IT sector to align with my IT degree and have the personality and core skills Xcendant is searching for. I will be able to quickly adapt to the requirement through your MT program and deliver strong results.

3 years of experience as a business trainer:

  • Engaging with stakeholders to manage learning needs and performance expectations

  • Designing, documenting, delivering and evaluating technical training and people development training

  • Administration of the training schedule, training resources and training metrics/trackers/MIs

  • Training staff on business applications including MS Office and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)

  • Providing training support for new product, process and system implementations

2 years of experience in performing valuations of the investment portfolios of HSBC's institutional clients.

  • Worked in a busy team sometimes under pressure. Needed to function efficiently as a team to meet client deadlines, while maintaining accuracy. 
  • Launched a toastmasters club for HSBC Securities Services and organised regular sessions focusing on speech craft and leadership.

Social Responsibility. As president of the UN club in college, organized a charity & awareness concert in support of a cancer patient Transit home project for the Maharagama cancer hospital. Raised over Rs.750,000 from the event. The event involved 300 choristers, Rs.200,000 in budgeted costs, 4000 seats to fill at the SJC auditorium, 4 month project timeline, Advanced Level Examinations around the corner and a 12 member organizing committee comprised of students.
