I owned a Jet 14 boat with my friend Greg and we used to race on Sundays Skiing I go skiing at least one a year with family or friends. This year we are going to Bad Gastein in Austria. We have also been to Tignes, Les Arcs, Passo Tonale, Alpe D'Huez, Ste Foy in Europe and Vale, Keystone and Okemo in the US Cooking I enjoy cooking a wide variety of food. My specialities include Pulled Pork, Pizza Burgers, Spicy BBQ Ribs, Orange BBQ Chicken and Squash Soup. I also make brerakfasts, such as blueberry pancakes and cinnamon porridge with caramel figs and cream Eating Out Favorite restaurants are Indian, Thai and French. Best restaurant I have eaten at are the Waterside Inn in Bray and the Tom Aitkens in London Wine I enjoy drinking wine. My favourites are white wine from the Alsace and in particular Tokay Pinot Gris from Turckheim. My favorite red wine is from the Cote D'Or area in Burgundy. Traveling I have lived abroad in France, Switzerland and the US. I have visited a number of countries on holiday or for work. My favorites are Italy, Spain Japan.
A Vice President for Global Commercialization - Immunology with Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) in Princeton, New Jersey, Clive Spiegler undertook Ph.D. research on peptide helix and turn stabilization at the University of Zurich, sponsored by Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. In 1993, Clive Spiegler moved to in Nutley, New Jersey, beginning his career in the pharmaceutical industry as a Trainee Project Manager for Hoffmann-La Roche. Within a year, Clive Spiegler was promoted to Senior Project Manager, overseeing the New Formulation Project Team for the pharmaceutical drug, Invirase, a medication used to treat the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). After two years of successful work in this position, Clive Spiegler was promoted to the job of Project Leader. Through hard work and diligence, he and his team successfully completed regulatory submissions for the drug (Fortovase) in the European Union (EU) and the United States (US), as well as subsequently securing marketing approval from these regulatory bodies. In 1997, Clive Spiegler moved to Knoll Pharmaceutical Company in Mount Olive, New Jersey, where he was appointed to the position of Global Team Leader. In this role, he led the global development team for Humira, a treatment for rheumatoid arthritis. He was responsible for large annual project budgets between 50 and 100 million dollars, as well as the management of the Clinical Team and other important project personnel. During his time in the position, the Global Project Team achieved a number of key milestones, most notably key regulatory meetings with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and comparable processes in the European Union, as well as the initiation of the phase III clinical program in rheumatoid arthritis.
