Clinical/Applications Analyst

  • Preparedness assessment/vendor selection for a mental health center in Brooklyn.
  • Analyzed training needs based on client specifications, recommended and implemented modification of training program to ensure effectiveness. Developed and distributed training materials for EMR application (Practice Fusion).
  • Executed the training plan for each clinical staff and clinician and tracked progress to ensure all users were trained prior to scheduled go-live date; took into account clinical documentation standards as well as Meaningful Use guidelines.
  • Trained clinic staff on new computer skills and new daily workflow.

  • Conducted kick-off meetings to gather information on the systems the sites use. Discussed how the Centricity EMR will interface with their current systems (Centricity Enterprise, Centricity Business (IDX), AS/OBGYN, EPF, ARIA, etc.) and how their documentation will change moving forward at Montefiore (2011 - 2012)
  • Managed large scale training program of Health MedX at 3 long-term care facilities. Designed and launched “pre-load” training clinics, optimized training documentation prior to go-live and designed custom modifications to accommodate workflow. (February 2011 - July 2014)
  • Worked on desktop optimization/EPIC infrastructure analysis project preparing Montefiore for EPIC implementation. (July 2014 – May 2015)
