Lacrosse, Cross-Country, Young Life, Sailing (Member of Alum Creek Sailing Association), Crewed on BLAZE (his families C&C 25 sloop) and won the 2005 ACSA Fall Regatta. Also enjoys skim boarding, ice boating, fishing, swimming, skiing, dune diving and playing basketball, Cliff is an avid novice guitar player. On 8/24/09 he stood in with the band Ricky Gene Hall and The Goods at Hoggie's in Delaware, OH. Cliff played the lead on Cream's Sunshine of your Love. The crowd loved it!

Cliff Kigar, a freshman at Olentangy High School in Lewis Center, Ohio, utilizes his natural athleticism as an attackman on the junior varsity lacrosse team. Mr. Kigar will play his first high school lacrosse match this spring. His older brother plays as an attackman on the high school’s varsity team; competing against him and his friends helped Cliff Kigar develop the tenacity and competitiveness needed to compete in the full-contact sport.Prior to joining his high school squad, Cliff Kigar played lacrosse at Shanahan Middle School. During the 2011 season, his team won the Division 3 State Championship after posting an 11-4 record. In addition to his positions on school-sponsored teams, Mr. Kigar honed his lacrosse skills with several local clubs. In the past three years, he played as an attackman with the Liberty Iroquois and Resolute Lacrosse based in Columbus, Ohio. He will join the Haymakers Lacrosse Club for the summer 2012 season. In order to maintain his involvement in the sport nearly year-round, he joins the Columbus Lacrosse Club for the winter season.In addition to his primary sport, lacrosse, Cliff Kigar runs with the cross-country team. He recently posted a personal best of 20:10 for the 5,000-meter off-road race. As cross country is a fall sport, he uses the season to stay in shape for the winter, spring, and summer lacrosse seasons. He is also a former recreational league football player.In addition to his team-oriented, athletic pursuits, Cliff Kigar enjoys playing the guitar, sailing, ice boating, fishing, and skim boarding.

Olentangy High School

Cliff is a excellent student with a strong apptitude in both math and science. He takes advanced level and/or honors classses at his high school and someday thinks he might become an engineer. He works well with others. He has a great sense of humor and relates well to his friends, teachers, and team mates. Cliff is a former footballl player who now enjoys running cross country in the fall. It helps him stay in top shape for his true athletic love, field lacrosse. Cliff is an attackman and has played for a variety of elite teams. He played for the Liberty Iroquois as a 6th grader. Last season he played attack for the Resolute 2015 team and, just to try something different, he will be playing for Haymakers Lacrosse in the summer of 2012. He is finding his way sprititually and has been spending more and more time with his local Young Life group. He has taken an interest in not only the fun and games of Young Life but also in the Campainers bible study group as well. Cliff is a big, strong freshman and credits his love for the game, and most of his success, to the guidance he received from his older brother - Now an Olentangy H.S. senior attackman. Playing with his older brother, and his brothers friends, has helped Cliff develope the skill and confidence to compete at the next level.
