About Marcia Clevesy

At the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), Marcia Clevesy, MSN, RNC, APRN, serves as a lecturer and clinical instructor for the bachelor of science in nursing program. She teaches Maternal-Child Health and manages students during clinical rotations in labor and delivery, newborn nursery, high-risk antepartum, and postpartum care. Along with teaching responsibilities, Ms. Clevesy currently serves on the UNLV Student Affairs and Nominations Committee.

A certified Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner, Marcia Clevesy previously worked as an advanced practice nurse for the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada’s Family Resource Center. There, she performed gynecologic, prenatal, and postpartum care, as well as non-stress tests and ultrasounds for women in the third trimester of pregnancy. Among her earlier experience, she practiced at Tufts Medical Center providing care for the Teen Pregnancy program and was previously a labor and delivery nurse for many years.

Along with maintaining membership in the AWHONN, Marcia Clevesy has served on the CDC Special Emphasis Panel for PRAMS and was a former instructor for the ALSO program. As a staff member at the NOCC clinic, she provides obstetrical and gynecological care for Las Vegas residents with limited resources.

Ms. Clevesy received her MSN with a concentration in nursing administration from Northeastern University and belongs to the Zetta Kappa chapter of Sigma Theta Tau.
