Facilitate process groups with female offenders, maintain order and house rules. Assisted with fire drills and organized inmate files. Created a 12 session workshop course to aid offenders who deal with traumatic experiences. Participate in daily routines which involve dorm inspection, reviewing write-ups, peer reading essays, and attending AMD and PMD. Attended staff meeting weekly, hands on staff revitalization trainings and promotion ceremonies.

Unit 13 Correctional Facility

Assist cognitive counselors with rehabilitation workshops, routine schedules which included learning sessions, process groups, offender mediation, and peer reading essays written by offenders for misconduct. Hands on training in a female corrections facility experiencing lock downs, shake downs, dorm inspections, key entry, visitation guidelines, staff guidelines and attending morning and afternoon development on a daily basis. created ideas with staff for future rehabilitation goals for the offenders, and maintained order and safety at all times.
