has worked in several management and pharmaceutical positions for nearly 35 years. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1975, he worked as a Staff Pharmacist. His skills as a pharmacist warranted a promotion to Pharmacy Manager of a Walgreen Co. store in La Crosse, Wisconsin, where he turned sluggish sales around by selling directly to local nursing homes. Claire Sweet’s successful work as Pharmacy Manager led to several positions with Walgreens, including Manager of a new pharmacy unit and Regional Director of stores in three states. The latter position required him to supervise a staff responsible for the prescriptions of 7,000 patients.After a successful career with Walgreens, Claire Sweet worked for NCS HealthCare, Inc., and Omnicare, Inc., in a variety of positions. He served as NCS HealthCare’s State Executive Director, and as such, he supervised the company’s four sites in Wisconsin, which generated $25 million in annual revenue. Claire Sweet eventually moved to Omnicare and worked as its Director of Customer Development. There, he supervised the company’s 300 accounts in Wisconsin, cultivated growth opportunities, and oversaw several million dollars in monthly sales. Both positions required him to report directly to senior executives, such as the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Operations Officer.Claire Sweet earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1975, and he belongs to several professional organizations. He has a fellowship with the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, and he served as the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin’s Chairman of its Long Term Care Section.
