A native of Richmond, Virginia, Claire Canon has traveled extensively. Throughout her youth, she lived in Cincinnati, Ohio; Denver, Colorado; and Atlanta, Georgia. She and her family eventually settled in St. Louis, Missouri, where they have resided since 2005. Claire Canon’s other travel experience includes several trips to the Caribbean, including the both the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, where along with her family she learned water sports such as snorkeling and sailing. Her other adventures include downhill skiing in the Rockies in Utah and Colorado, and visits to beaches along the East Coast of the United States from Virginia to southern Florida.Claire Canon’s high school years were distinguished by her participation in an award-winning hip-hop dance team, which resulted in trips around the USA and numerous world competitions at Universal Studios in Orlando. She also volunteered in community beautification projects and at an animal shelter. Canon began working at age 15 in a local restaurant and a bank, and later became a lifeguard and model.Currently, Claire Canon is attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City, located in the heart of Kansas City. Canon is studying for a B.A. in Broadcast Communication and a minor in Journalism. She hopes to become an entertainment news anchor, with the ultimate goal of landing a spot on a major television network. In addition to travel and outdoor sports, Canon loves reading, cooking, and yoga. She is a music lover who appreciates all genres, and especially enjoys attending live concerts. Canon still loves all styles of dance.
