“Chuck is a top-notch government affairs professional who has helped position the Reading-Berks Association of Realtors as a political force to be reckoned with in the region. He has worked effectively with his own membership and elected officials from both political parties to advocate a legislative agenda that benefits the industry he represents and protects private property rights. Currently serving as the Government Affairs Director for the Reading-Berks Association of REALTORS®, Chuck Liedike represents real estate professionals primarily on municipal legislative issues. In this capacity, he conducts policy research and analysis, organizes and manages the grassroots advocacy program, and communicates with elected officials and related organizations. Additionally, he collaborates with the state and national association when legislation arises that may affect REALTORS®, homeowners and private property owners in Berks County, Pennsylvania. In this role, he reviews, makes recommendations, and educates the membership on impending legislation. Aside from his position, Chuck is highly interested in the advocacy of young adults in America. He is currently working on a website that will inform the 18 to 35 year old general population on specific issues like the economy, education, homeownership, and jobs, to name a few. Rather than create a website that positions these issues in a partisan manner, he finds it imperative to analyze said issues with a non-partisan approach. Lastly, Chuck is also involved with his community. As he looks to educate young adults on important policy decisions, he is active with the Greater Reading Young Professionals, specifically serving as one of the original members of its Legislative Impact Committee. Other groups he is involved with include: the Chester County Young Professionals, the Young Leaders Group with the Urban Land Institute - Philadelphia, and Widener University's MPA Alumni Committee, serving in the role of co-chair.
