OPT or Optical Practical Training is a training program for F1 International Students to the United States of America. I experienced the work environment of several companies of small or large sizes such as Brooks Brothers who had (in 2007) around 3500 employees with 250M revenue (2007) or KMART 17256M revenue(2008) according to Yahoo, Inc. Finance.

Phi Theta Kappa member ~ inducted in 2006

Phi Theta Kappa, also ΦΘΚ or sometimes PTK, is the international honor society. According to Phi Theta Kappa, it is estimated that 200,000 students participate in Phi Theta Kappa programs every year, with more than 82,000 students inducted annually. In 2006, Phi Theta Kappa inducted its 2 millionth member. A Phi Theta Kappa member must maintain a high academic standing (usually a 3.25 GPA) to remain a member in good standing in the society.

Alpha Beta Gamma member ~ inducted in  2006

Alpha Beta Gamma is an International Business Honor Society. The society is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies. To be eligible for membership in ABG, between other requirments, the student must have demonstrated academic excellence by attaining a 3.0 GPA or its equivalent in business courses as well as a 3.0 overall average.
