Dear Teresa, I hope you are keeping well and had a lovely Easter?

I would very much like to be considered for the position of Product Integrity Assistant that I recently saw advertised. I have included my curriculum vitae and thank you for taking the time to read it.

As you will see I have a wealth of relevant top level administrative experience. While working for the Royal Dublin Society as Membership Development Executive my duties included providing end to end administrative support in organizing, promoting and managing all RDS member events as well as all formal member business meetings on site.   I managed and planned hospitality options during the Dublin Horse Show at the RDS Members' Bar (Main Arena), this involved hiring training and supervising new staff to ensure the highest possible standards were maintained for members and their guests. I organized networking breakfasts with notable key speakers Airbnb, AA Ireland and was in charge of strategically planning the Royal Dublin Society's attendance at the Balmoral Show 2015, The Ploughing Championships 2015 and The Irish Antique Dealers Association Fair 2014 & 2015.

I maintained an events survey and detailed membership database and regularly pushed for operations upgrades based on members feedback and personal research. I ran the administrative side of the RDS Library for over two years, supervising a team of four people on rotation. Other responsibilities I had included archival research, curating in house art and themed series exhibitions, as well as cataloging, preserving and processing library material.

I have also worked as European Customer Service Co-Ordinator for Avid Technology/Digidesign where my clients included Abbey Road, Pinewood Studio’s and the BBC. I was regularly called upon to represent our European operation at top American industry gatherings such as NAMM. During my time at Digidesign I participated in and took the lead on numerous projects to improve and add value to our VIP clients customer journey.

I feel that my many years administrative experience working for such companies as Philips Electronics, Avid Technology, AA Ireland and the RDS has given me a keen insight into how a professional, focused and efficient team operates. All my former positions have required a keen attention to detail and demanded a high level of communication skills. I have always used my own initiative towards the responsible functioning of a wider team. I am a conscientious person who works hard and has a critical eye for detail.

Membership Development and Events Executive

Duties included:

  • Organising, planning and promoting key membership events including  networking breakfasts with notable speakers (Airbnb, AA Ireland)

European Customer Service Co-Ordinator

Duties Included:

  • Liaising with service agents throughout Europe on a daily basis to prioritise high level customer support issues.
  • Monitoring and prioritising major client repairs for Abbey Road, Pinewood Studios, Sky Television and the BBC.
  • Resolving all internal ISO audits to maintain the highest international standards.
  • Analysing European repair statistical data and compiling reports to better forecast and avoid any potential spikes in the field fail rate.
  • Ensuring all financial transactions were accounted for within SAP and reported to the board of directors.
  • Maintaining a European customer and authorized repair center database to ensure effective management of all client accounts.
  • Making technical, statistical and financial information available for company management while stringently observing corporate confidentiality directives.
