Managed day-to-day operations of non-profit organization with a staff of 6 people. Agency helped individuals and families be successful home owners through pre- and post-purchase counseling, foreclosure prevention counseling, and development of affordable housing. Duties included seeking and administrating grants, reporting to various funders, our Board of Directors, and our national partner, as well as representing and marketing the agency within the community.

John Curley

John is also the Director of Building & Permits for the City of Aurora.  As such, we have worked as peers when I was also at the City as well as when I was the Executive Director of The Joseph Corporation and he was President of the Board of Directors.

I have known Joe for many years and am glad to be able to serve in the church with him. 


A public servant in both local government and non-profit agency designing and implementing programs to improve the lives of individuals and families, especially lo- to moderate-income families. Skill sets applied include: research, data collection, analysis, problem solving, team building, strong written and oral communication, and presentations.


Missionary work in Mindanao, Philippines
