University of Manchester
My name is Chueh Chih-Ta (Andy) and I am from Taiwan. I am in my 1st year, studying Criminology MA in the University of Manchester. Growing up in a business-oriented family has allowed me to travel and migrate from time to time. At the age of 6, my family moved to Singapore and at the age of 16, I was sent to England, UK for higher education.
As an individual whom has been traveling around the world, I grew up in an environment whereby one had to be highly adaptable and independent.
In the 3 years of my undergraduate programme, I was heavily involved in student societies and university events/schemes in which played an important role in my student experience while during academic term time.
These roles and titles of various student-led societies and internal/external institutional departments (i.e. Course Rep/International Ambassador/Committee member of society) has allowed me to learn and integrate myself in different aspects when working in a real-world environment.
