Create, design and layout architectural drawings. Create and maintain elevations, 3D drawings and renderings for each project. Layout structural elements, flooring, fixtures and associated merchandising for each project. Coordinate with outside architects and engineers as well as collaborate with multiple internal project team members. Developed a fixture matrix to help the teams better understand existing fixture compatibility with the new prototype. This was recognized by the executive committee and I received the quarterly MVP. Keep on top of all company weekly prototype changes and design initiatives. Manage multiple projects and track milestones to ensure that all projects are completed on time and with high quality.

Cato Corporation
Store Designer and Space Planner for all divisions of the Cato Corporation including Cato, It’s Fashion, It’s Fashion Metro and Versona brands. Responsible for the coordination of store construction projects including producing construction drawings and MEP sets for conversions, remodels and new stores. This process includes providing all construction details and procedures, partnering with internal project management and interacting with landlords and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsible for coordinating and tracking maintenance for all facilities nationwide including providing excellent customer service to internal associates requesting service and to our network of vendors providing services. Assist the VP of Store Planning & Design in developing space utilization concepts, fixture details and color boards for major corporate initiatives. Lead Purchasing Coordinator for the corporate offices and all facilities nationwide. Developed and implemented a store planning, strategy that consolidated all store design, utility, maintenance and construction information in a single system of record accessible throughout the organization. A separate but similar effort relating to inventory and procurement led to over $400,000 in realized savings by eliminating excess freight, and onsite warehousing of inventory. Led and managed the strategic eSourcing project for the corporation which includes redesigning all fixtures, drawing details and numbering system for Cato and It’s Fashion Metro stores and procuring suppliers though online, reverse auctions. Specification writer for company reverse auctions including exterior building signs, store fixtures, corrugated boxes, paper etc.

Maintain project files and assist project administration activities.
