Supporting the CG art team with Maya plugins and tools
Creation of web services to assist pipeline automation
Collaborating with other technical leads to find workflow solutions
Educating artists as workflow procedures evolve through documentation and presentations

Requirements:
Strong Python programming, including metaprogramming, multi-threading, and inter-process communication
Strong understanding of Maya, PyMEL, and the Maya API
Strong understanding of  PySide and building MVC structured applications
Comfortable with Git and GitLab
Extending tools with C/C++ when necessary
Integrating tools with asset tracking software, primarily Shotgun and Flix
Familiarity with Mari, Nuke and Houdini
Familiarity with the Linux command line

Assure the quality of CG Assets as they move into Lighting
Assemble finished rig and texture files into a single" Final" file
Create simple rig controls when necessary
Create scripts that support the asset assembly workflow
Create new assets from old ones when necessary

Requirements:
Knowledge of how a CG Asset is built
Understanding of Maya
Ability to write scripts in Python or MEL
