Design and create tools for use in new and existing TV productions
Set up FX rigs and Gizmos for use on new & existing productions
Define standards and techniques for new processes that will be used in production by DWATV and our Partner Studios.
Responsible for communicating production and or software concerns related to the FX department to the CG Supervisor.
Initiate, set up, organize and document FX tools and processes.
Perform technical work in support of new and existing FX processes/tools being used in production at DWATV and Partner Studios
Work with FX TD’s and Leads from Partner Studios to troubleshoot issues related to DWATV FX tools that are being used in their production pipelines.
Responsible for software testing / vetting for planned upgrades.
Coordinate FX pipeline changes and script pushes with the VFX Supervisor
Review documentation created by FX Artists.
Help train the CG Artists & Leads at Partner Studios and new hires at DWATV.
