St. Petersburg, FL State Sales Director Job responsibilities consist of managing 150+ independent insurance agencies throughout the state of North Carolina to drive new business and retention of written business to achieve performance goals and profitability quotas through sales and marketing initiatives and product training. Brokering contracts for appointments and monitoring production of existing accounts to ensure maximum sales efficiency in territory. Also consists of working as a liaison between the Commercial, Personal and Flood Product Management and Underwriting Team of Bankers Insurance Group and the Executive Management level of the independent agencies. This includes consulting and designing marketing and sales strategies to provide incrementally profitable programs, unique to the market products and applicable coverage to the end customer through my agency force.
