New VA Hospital project, responsibilities include managing 4 apprentices at any given time, ordering material for various projects, My main project is Dampers for the AC units for the entire building, holding safety meetings ever morning, filling out task hazard analysis, bringing temporary feeds to all circuits installed and trouble shooting after placing these circuits on permanent power, Bringing permanent power into the building with various undergound piping, pulling and terminating wire from number 12, all the way to 750 MCM, termination by compression or lug.

Part Time job for two days during the week, installing and repairing various 12 volt appliances, installing car radios and fixing and replacing various fuses, resistors etc, small electronics repair.

Apprentice Electrician/Journeyman Wireman

Responsibility of two or more apprentices at any given time. Bringing temporary service into a new building, University Hospital Project, responsible for bringing all critical and emergency circuits into patient rooms by pipe work using EMT, later that year moved with the company to New Orleans East Hospital, from the ground up, brought service in, piped in critical care circuits, normal and emergency circuits, various circuits to the operating room equipment and critical areas, lighting in every corridor of the hospital, troubleshooting and maintaining all circuits until we were released for final inspection. Turned out to journeyman wireman during this time.

Spanned various projects, transitioned from working alongside journeyman wireman to planning and preparing various small jobs within the main job site. Duties included ordering material, browsing blueprints to enable me to order material for the job I was preparing to do, included hanging electrical panels, Moving and installing various size transformers, various types of switch gear for the main service. Conducted and implemented safety practices in my own job. Responsible for up to two men at any given time, Energizing large switch gear and testing every component of it, trimming out various projects and troubleshooting various Items on different commercial and industrial projects.

Working alongside a journeyman wire man, was responsible for material count and reorder, Pipe bending in sizes ranging from 1/2" to 4" EMT, and Ridgid style pipe, bringing main 480 volt service into building, troubleshooting after service was turned on.

While work was slow in my local hall, I took a job in maintenance, assisting the owner with various electrical and drywall installations and repairs, troubleshooting circuits, making patches in drywall, bringing electrical service into new buildings, as well as changing out old fuse services to new breaker style.
