Christina Thompson

Welcome

I am a recent graduate of Katherine Reese Pamplin College of Arts and Sciences at Augusta State University. My degree is in Communications with a focus in Journalism.

I was a staff writer for The Bell Ringer, the college newspaper, for three consecutive semesters before becoming the Arts and Life Editor. I held the Arts and Life Editor position for one year until graduation in May 2009.

Upon completion of my degree I performed my internship with The Metro Spirit, a weekly newspaper, and the monthly U Magazine in Augusta, Ga. I was a staff writer for The Metro Spirit and wrote a monthly business column for the U Magazine. Clips from these experiences can be viewed here.

I am a goal-oriented self-starter with over 4 years of progressive experiences performing functions as an administrator and manager. I have excellent interpersonal communication skills in addition to my leadership, teamwork and customer service abilities.

I am seeking employment with a print or electronic publication where l because I believe I will be an asset by producing quality work with integrity, honesty and passion.
