A graduate of Texas A&M University and a former member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority, Christina Michelle Jez participated in a variety of extracurricular activities while a student at the Texas A&M and played an active role in both collegiate and community affairs. Most notably, she worked with her sorority to plan the first-ever Crescent Classic, an annual fundraiser to benefit Camp Fire USA. Christina Michelle Jez also contributed to many other charitable functions, ranging from Texas A&M’s Greek Canned Food Drive to neighborhood beautification initiative Adopt-a-Street.Christina Jez graduated in May 2011, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences. She devotes much of her free time to running and training for competitive events, including the 2012 Whidbey Island Half Marathon. She recently accomplished one of her best finishes in the 2012 New Year’s 5-Mile Run at White Rock Lake, placing second among women in the 20 to 24 age group.
