Christie Mensch

Dr. Christie Mensch provides outpatient mental health care for adults from across Wyandotte County, Kansas, as a psychiatrist for Wyandot Center in Kansas City. For patients with conditions such as depression, attention deficit disorder, traumatic disturbances, and schizophrenia, she conducts comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Complementing her position at Wyandot Center, Dr. Christie Mensch remains engaged with colleagues by participating in such professional gatherings as the 2015 Annual Meeting of the American Psychiatric Association.

Along with her work in the mental health field, Dr. Christie Mensch has worked as a physician for the Kansas City Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she performed triage evaluations and treatment for patients with acute medical issues. She completed a degree in medicine at Creighton University and fulfilled a residency at Kansas University.

In support of institutions that serve the local community, Dr. Christie Mensch contributes to St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Kansas University Medical Center. She enjoys spending her free time reading and cooking comfort food typical of American Midwest cuisine. Seeking to emulate English culinary principles, she slow roasts or braises her dishes to highlight the natural flavors of simple, fresh ingredients.
