My responsibilities are but is not limited to draft and design residential Homes, Revise and follow
building codes, fire regulations, zoning laws and city ordinances when creating plans.
For public buildings, being aware of disabled access laws. Since these laws change regularly, stay
up-to-date on policy, zoning and regulation changes.
Be in sync with latest energy-efficient products, building styles and the area to ensure their design
matches current building structures.
To provide pre-design figures such as an environmental impact or feasibility study, cost analysis
and land use study. Final construction plans are created by me and used by builders as a step-bystep
guide on how the look and details of the building will play out, including plumbing,
communication and heating, electrical, ventilation and structural systems.

Delivery of Services as An Architect
Schematic Design The schematic design is produced after I meet with
client and discusses the scope of work. Then puts pen
to paper and take the clients idea and professional
input and create a product.
Design development In the development phase, if the client is pleased after
the schematic phase, I proceed to detail the project
and investigate use of materials, the quality of the site
and the finishes required.
Construction documentation phase -
In the documentation phase, drawings are prepared
which I will submit to the Parish Council for approval
and give to contractors for construction. These
documents can be used anywhere in world.
Tender phase In the tender stage I then prepare a package based on
my architectural drawings and engineering drawings.
With the services of quantity surveyor, a bill of
quantities is prepared and costs everything. The
project is then submitted to three or four building
contractors who will suggest rates and prices based on what they know they can provide. At the end of process the quantity surveyor and I choose the best offer.
Contract administration phase
In the construction administration phase, a contract is signed to construct the building and then I will proceed to make sure that the building is being built to the specifications of the drawing.
