Profile

I am a rare combination of a developer and a banker.  For 13 years I worked in corporate banking in both risk analysis and customer facing roles.  Today I am a UX developer working on a team building a new digital wallet.  How did I get here?  I left the world of banking in late 2015 with the goal of becoming a developer.  To gain the development skills I needed I attended a coding bootcamp.  I went on to work in a developer role for the past 18 months.  This unique experience base allows me to analyze problems with a focus on both the business outcomes and the technical challenges.

My objective is to be a part of a team of individuals working towards creative solutions to the challenges changes in technology create in banking today.

I have knowledge of and experience with:

  • Technology: Angular, Typescript, Javascript, CSS, HTML5, SQL, MongoDB, JSON, Git and Nodejs.
  • Finance: risk modelling, Basel compliance, corporate lending, cash flow modelling, asset based loans, valuations, real estate and operating loans.
