Although my writing is certainly not without fault, my style is straight-forward and non-verbose. I have been complemented on explaining ideas and concepts effectively.
Working Knowledge of Myers-Briggs
Understanding how people view things differently helps me have empathy for others, something that does not come naturally for me. I wish I would have learned this skill earlier in my career, as it would have allowed to be build stronger relationships with cohorts much easier and faster. This is a skill that I use daily, and have found it to be extremely valuable.
One of the lessons learned in the Army was to "get the job done" regardless of what resources were available. As a consultant, I have often been challenged with modest budgets. With creativity, and asking for help in the right places, progress towards objectives can be made.
Understanding Company-wide Priorities
I have worked at all levels of larger organizations, from the manufacturing floor as a shift supervisor, sales, sales management, special project teams, director of marketing and sales, and consultant, where often multiple departments must cooperate in order for a strategic project to be successful. I've managed this with an understanding of how people think and act differently given the same stimuli.
Managing Multiple Tasks
Managing quickly changing priorities has never been something that I've had difficulty with.

2009 is the 12th year I have been an independent marketing strategist and consultant. I publish a free monthly marketing newsletter; you may sign up at; most of my clients and friends tell me they find it helpful. My vision is to become the most respected marketing consultant in the Southeast. My goal for 2009 is to gain ten new clients.
