As a Busser my primary duty was to ensure that empty tables became ready to receive new guests. Some specific duties included removing dishes and glassware, sanitizing tables, cleaning seats and the surrounding area, and resetting tables with the proper silverware. Although my duties mainly included cleaning I also took it upon myself to create an enjoyable environment for the guests. One way that I created this environment was that I quietly cleaned tables without hitting glasses together or making any disturbing unnecessary noises. I also helped the servers as much as possible by refilling drinks, getting them supplies, and delivering food.
