This course was a valuable addition to the knowledge I gained on my CELTA and helped to cement many of the ideas about teaching that I had picked up over the course of my career. It also gave me confidence when co-planning with other teachers and allowed me to conduct observations on young learner classes.

During this degree I focussed on French language as well as the wider social, economic and political issues in French society past and present. There were also some elements of linguistics and second language acquisition theory and I spent one year studying abroad in Lyon, France.

Hobbies and Interests

As well as teaching, I have many other hobbies. I enjoy learning new languages and currently speak French, Spanish and some Vietnamese. When not at work I like to hang out with my friends at coffee shops and try new and interesting food.
