Police Investigator

Sanford Police Department

The primary function of the Crimminal Investigative Division include but are not limited to all major cases requiring specialized investigations. My specific specialization is Economic Crimes, which involve Fraud, (direct and electronic) counterfeiting and idenity theft. Furthermore, additional assignments command senior invistigators to assume homicide, person(s) and property investigations. During the course of the past fifteen years, the investigations which I led or assisted in,  have concluded with the arrest and convictions of a multitude of individuals in every area, to include Drugs. Also during this period, a positve and  productive series of realtionships have been established with our Federal, State and local agencies, to include, the Federal Bureau of Investigations, The United States Secret Service and the United States Marshals.

Contract Gaurd

United States Marshal Service

This contractual position was premised upon the needs of the Office of the U.S. Marshal, for the Middle District of Florida. The responsibilities ranged from the regular duties and responsibilities of the fulltime Deputy U.S.Marshal's called upon to transport federal prisoners primarily in and out of district, as well as in and out of the country. Within this position court security within the federal courthouse and individual security provided for all federal judges and magistraites alike. The purpose and creation of this program allowed for the utilization of local and state sworn law enforcement officers within the ranks of the federal law enforcement system as needed.

Sergeant

Eatonville Police Department

The responsibilities of this office consisted of, but was not limited to the daily operation of the patrol division. In the absence of the Chief of Police, the overall administrative responsibility of the department also feel to the Sergeant, due to the vacant Police administrative posistions. Furthermore, budgetary preperation, personnel decisions affecting twenty two Police Officers, to include report review, daily calls for service, supply, training and Professional Standards.

The additional challenges pressed upon this small but diverse department while, providing public safety for its citizens were numerous. Special events such as the Zora Neale Hurston Festival, which attracted well over one hundred and fifty thousand individuals and organizations routinely for extended periods. This event which would be preceeded by the Martin Luther King Jr. festivities which also commanded the full compliment and cooperation of the Eatonville Police Department and the multitude of adjoining law enforcement agencies.

Marketing Director/Master Instructor

Motor Vehicle Traffic School

As the Marketing Director of the Motor Vehicle Traffic School, I acted as the laison between local and state governmental entities to insure the approved and correct information were being provided within the programs offered by the school. As the Master Instructor of a nationally recognized program, training and compliance were at the forefront of the many task assigned to this office, to include the certification and recertification of instructors facilitating the multitude of driver improvement programs offered.
