Personal Statement

  • I love to create pivotal products.
  • I think big and out of the box.
  • I obsess about efficiency & writing only beautiful code.
  • I value creativity, geek-ism, smartness and humour.
  • I promote and improve sensible processes.
  • I build solutions with an intent to make a positive impact in the world.

I like working with teams consisting of idealists who have a good head over shoulders. I have little patience for corporate politics, heavy processes and ladder climbing.

Impact is my biggest drive. Also the decisive factor in the choices I make. I work mostly with a skill I don't hold a degree in - common sense. My primary tool is ability to ask the right questions. I'm known for my passion for problem solving, pursuit of excellence and hard work.

I have a strong technical background and leadership experience. As a web developer, I've built products in various domains. As a leader, I've built, managed and mentored teams of 2 to 10 people.

Lord of Software (Lead Developer)

Senic GmbH

I'm the One Man Army of Software and 25% strength of the core team at Senic. I debuted in hardware world here. During the product discovery phase of our first product "Flow", I was the principal software consultant and developer. My responsibility was defining and scoping how Flow would work. This meant gaining sufficient understanding of Smart Home systems, sensor technologies, Bluetooth Low Energy stack, and inadequate digital interfaces to name a few. I wrote Arduino sketches for the prototypes we built in C and applications in NodeJS, Ruby and AppleScript.

Apart from my main responsibilities, I was involved in pre-campaigning for our Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign (which was successful, we were funded over 500%). I presented Flow in several tech-talks and meetups to an audience of hundreds of people, blogged on behalf of Senic and co-wrote tutorials that were well received by readers.

My other contributions were to introduce and adapt processes for hardware from my experience with several tools and methodologies meant for software in order to optimize team communication and productivity of a distributed team.
