Operation Manager / Traffic controller

TBIC is a company that provides a full solutions offering. In my capacity as the Operations Manager, I manage the day to day running of operations, scheduling of all workloads and managing of all client deadlines across departments in my secondary role as the Traffic Controller. I have to date had the privilege of working on brands such as; Blue Ribbon Bread a division of the Premier Foods group, Bridgestone South Africa, Firestone South Africa, Centracom, NGO- JPS Africa, Ads24 and Valued [Dubai].

  • Key support and communications between project management and multimedia studio departments, which include: creative, social media and production (Film and Photography).
  • Assist account executives in a project management capacity.
  • Brief management: receiving, assigning, follow up and closing off of tasks.
  • Timeline management for projects, department and client.
  • Working with the operations director, implementing and managing internal processes.
  • Project budgeting and costing especially within the production scope.
  • Weekly time log reporting.
  • Supplier sourcing, relationship building and maintenance thereof.
  • Assist the production department in a production management capacity across all disciplines.

The Content Mint Pty Ltd was a film production company operating as a separate entity of its brother company TBIC /Amnicomm, a digital agency at the time. The Content Mint, not only fulfilled all the production requirements for its brother company TBIC's client needs but also took on independent projects.

During my tenure as the Production Manager, I was fortunate to work with a very talented team on brands and projects such as:

Bridgestone South Africa's 2013/2014 South African Swimsuit sponsorship, Pink Drive "Pink valve cap" campaign and the 2013/2014 Bridgestone Route 66 MTB Experience.
Blue Ribbon Bread's "My Mom Is So Cool"[Behind the scenes] and "It's made for PE & King Williams Town" [Share a sandwich] activations.
Superga South Africa's "If these shoes could talk" campaign [Activation coverage].

  • Key support to the film Director
  • Managing traffic of the production department and schedules within several departments.
  • Supplier sourcing, relationship building and maintenance thereof.
  • Managing of film crews, shoots and pre and post production.
  •  General administration
  • Budgeting and reconciliation of accounts.

Reason for leaving:  Company restructured and allocated me a position within TBIC .

Superga South Africa #SupergaTalk Campaign activations

TBIC was approached by Superga South Africa's agency to assist in bringing to life their clients global brand idea "If these shoes could Talk" in South Africa. TBIC collaborated with the lead agency on a two-month social media brand campaign called #SupergaTalk "If these shoes could Talk", to capture activation content to share on digital platforms. My role was production management of the video content produced for the individual activations, which included: #SupergaTalk Sansui Summer Cup, #SupergaTalk House Party and #SupergaTalk Uber Lamborghini Story.


Bridgestone - Route 66 MTB Experience

Event coverage for the 2015 Bridgestone Route 66 MTB Experience in the Cradle of Humankind where riders took up the challenging 210km course over a period of 3 days. My role was production manager of the client shoot in which we captured content for digital purposes over the 3-day challenge.
