Taylor Guitars

For over ten years I built the bodies of acoustic and electric guitars. This included assembly, sanding, binding, etc. I was also in charge of climate control in the building where I worked, maintaining optimal temperature and humidity levels.

National University

I returned to school in April, 2010 after a 13-year hiatus. I'm currently on track to receive my BA in Digital Journalism in October, 2012. I also hold a 3.86 GPA.

I have quite a bit of experience in most MS Office programs, and I'm also familiar with Word Press.

I have learned valuable skills as an editor while in my position as editor-in-chief of The NU Herald, copy-editing stories from staff writers, and maintaining the online content.

As a reporter for, and as a student journalist, I have often used my skills as a photographer to take my own pictures for stories.

I have been writing since the age of ten, and have had several short stories and poems published in literary journals. I have also done very well in journalism, and am the current editor-in-chief of National University's online newspaper, The NU Herald. Additionally, I am a freelance reporter for, a local news service.

I am mainly interested in writing, journalism in particular. I'm also interested in marketing and public relations.
