1. Led the transition of OPNET's sales application into Ruby on Rails. It incorporates all aspects of the sales process, and is the only tool used by OPNET's sales team to track and report on their progress.2. Meet with OPNET’s CEO bimonthly to present and analyze business-impacting reports based on sales data.3. Created an order influencers application that allows the marketing team to visualize the influence of different lead sources.4. Implemented a memcache based authentication scheme for serving protected static pages.5. Led design and implementation of inventory application, as OPNET's business needs required selling of hardware.6. Integrated the inventory application with order fulfillment process using web services.7. Worked with team members to plan and execute moving OPNET's internal applications to a colocation facility with minimal downtime.8. Led the effort in upgrading OPNET's 4th dimension applications from v2004.7 to v11 and later to v12.9. Responsible for setting up sphinx based search to improve search capability and performance in OPNET's sales application.
1. Worked on integrating OPNET's order processing, staff and customer data with Oracle PeopleSoft Systems (Financials and HCM).2. Created a projects application in Ruby on Rails that is used by engineering staff to track tasks and deliverables.3. Created support for small business sub-contracting plan in OPNET's purchasing system.4. Worked on creating a base template from which to quickly spin up rails applications at OPNET.5. Created a reporting infrastructure that caches data from various sources to allow data mining based on different business needs.
1. Implemented a software delivery management system with support for export control regulations via web services.2. Implemented single sign-on/off support for OPNET's internal web applications.3. Created a distributed check-in system for attendees at OPNET's annual conference.
