I got asked by a friend who was in IUP's ROTC program to write a story on their Ranger Challenge success.
After writing the first article for IUP's ROTC they asked me to write a second the following year.
The ice cream lady at IUP's dinning hall, was always the highlight of my day at the cafe. So I decided to write a personality profile to tell her story.
IUP's Public Relations Student Society of America welcomed a guest speaker to students on campus, and I covered the event.
IUP's Campus Crusade for Christ organization played in powder puff football game homecoming weekend.

This is more of a fun photo that I took at the Big Butler Fair summer 2010. Capturing the lights against the night sky was a bit of a challenge, which is what makes this one of my favorites
A lot of good photos are taken on vacation. This one was taken in Orlando at the Convention Center. My friend Dan was resting against one of the windows, and I thought it was a nice shot.
This was a macro photo assignment for my photography class. I took this at the Pittsburgh Zoo, where this bird was sitting there on a stump.
Six Hand Bakery opened in Indiana, PA and we were covering it for our student newspaper The PENN. I took the photo assignment and my roommate took the story. This photo later became the cover for that week's newspaper.
I played lacrosse in college and always enjoyed taking the photo assignments for sports. This photo was used in a story that showcased the top players on the IUP field hockey team.
