Responsible for leading and implementing cost reduction opportunities by organizing and directing large company-wide and interdepartmental projects. Established continuous improvement practice within service operations and transferred ownership to responsible personnel.
- Executed network cost reduction project by leading working teams in problem solving exercises and in the development, administration, and application of project plans. Results reduced operating cost by 6% ($57MM) in 2007.
- Led one of four Project Management teams responsible for company wide deployment of a redesigned international express air cargo network. Utilized internal DePICT Project Management Tool to track and report progress. This plan was implemented ahead of schedule and met all established service requirements and business goals.
- Developed innovative and customized transportation solutions for new and existing clients using continuous improvement methods. Results provided an optimized network structure to ensure retention of existing clients while reducing costs.
- Consultant to internal and external clients for pricing, sales, labor, real estate, fleet, and industrial engineering for resolution of issues that had the potential to improved service and/or reduced costs.
